Resolutely Abstract

For this style photo shoot we walked to 10th ave by the piers here in NYC and found a colorful wall filled with Artist names in alphabetical order. Come to find out the multicolored acrylic panels are Tasset’s Artists Monument which has 392,486 modern and contemporary artists, ranging from Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol to emerging artists with a single exhibition to their credit. This seemed like the perfect location to showcase this fun outfit. As I said before I have a fear of wearing white clothing because I'm just so scared of getting it dirty. I recently purchased this crochet trim halter tie back top that seemed like a perfect addition to my Summer wardrobe. I don't have anything like this in my closet so I figured why not? I know it's white, but I went for it! I like adding new things to my wardrobe that I don't already have for obvious reasons. I paired it with these jean Unif skort that worked well with the delicacy of the top. I love skorts, it's like a skirt, but with the safety. The wind can come and you won't find yourself with your buns hanging out for the world to see... I mean there could be worse things, but you know safety first that or wear shorts under your skirt damnit! :P
